LAMINATE CARE
ROUTINE CLEANING:
- To clean the surface, use a damp cloth or sponge and a mild soap or detergent.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water and wipe dry.
STAIN REMOVAL:
- Difficult stains, such as coffee or tea can be removed using a mild household cleaner / detergent and a soft-bristled brush, repeating as necessary.
- If stain persists, use a past of baking soda and water, to be applied with a soft-bristled brush. Light scrubbing for 10 to 20 strokes should remove most stains. Although baking soda is a low abrasive, excessive scrubbing or exerting too much force could damage the decorative surface, especially if it has a gloss finish.
EXCESSIVE HEAT:
- Hot pans and heat-producing appliances, such as electric skillets) can mar a product’s beauty when set directly on the surface.
- Always use a heat shield, such as a hot pad or trivet.
FABRIC / UPHOLSTERY CARE
ROUTINE CLEANING:
- Recommended Cleaning Solution: Mixture of Tide® or Oxiclean® with warm water (1 teaspoon of soap for every 16 ounces water)
- Always avoid pressing the spill into the fabric, as this may compromise the repellency. Any time that a substance other than 100% water is used to remove a spill, the fabric must be wiped down with a damp cloth to remove any excess cleaning solution.
STAIN REMOVAL:
- Remove excess contaminant from the fabric surface before cleaning.
- Mix a diluted solution of mild detergent and warm water.
- Dampen cloth with the mixture and gently work the stain in a circular motion (Avoid rubbing the infected area aggressively and be sure not to oversaturate the fabric).
- After the stain is removed, dampen a clean cloth with water only and wipe away any excess soap left behind.
- Allow the fabric to air dry.
METAL CARE
ROUTINE CLEANING:
- Wipe up spills immediately using a clean, dry cloth.
- Wipe off surface with a soft brush or cloth to remove dust and particles.
- Clean with soft cloth and diluted solution of mild detergent and warm water.
- Dry with soft cloth.
WARNINGS:
- When powder-coating is scratched or worn, the metal is more exposed to moisture in the air, causing rust and corrosion.
- Avoid excessive scrubbing or excess force when cleaning to maintain the integrity of the finish and longevity of the product.
- Avoid use of steel wool or scouring pads, as these may scratch and damage the metal surface.
- Do not use bleach or any detergent containing sulphuric or hydrochloric acid.
